Martin County is located in Southwest Indiana. Loogootee, its largest city, is located at the junction of US 50 and US 231. While Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center occupies the northern third of the county, the rest is rich with open land, forests and the White River.

The principal runway is paved, lighted, and has been recently extended to 5,000 feet to accommodate business jets.
